Project Details
The Breckland Biera was a project which required an Engineering solution for the installation of the GM LS2 Corvette engine into the donor platform.
This task can be made easier by using an aftermarket ECU. However the project required that the original ECU be used as this interfaced with the vehicle CAN-Bus and all the body control modules (BCMs). Without this the vehicle simply would not function. TE Systems provided the complete engineering solution including the addition of a few discrete circuits relays and switches to facilitate the successful function of the prototype Breckland Biera.
The wiring harnesses for this vehicle, as developed by TE Systems, are now manufactured by the customer themselves, according to the TE Systems design solution.
